How discovered: the good old Angies Open call audition

Your Favorite Audition: Haha the one for Mind Over Muder at Andrea Kenyon In Montreal….it was the first audition I ever booked, and I got to kiss a really cute boy…who could ask for anything more?

How many films or commercials did you work on in 2008: I worked on about 5 different feature films, 1 TV Series as a Recurring Actor and TV Commercials since the beginning of the year!

How did it feel to be booked on 2 films that shot on the same day…how did you handle it, learning the scripts, and going from one character to the next: It was hectic, definitely a lot of stress, but I just did what I had to do, gave it my all and things worked out very nicely in the end. It helped being in an environment that was full of supportive people. It really put me at ease.

Awkward Audition or On The Set Moment: When I did an audition for a toothpaste commercial at Gloria Mann…they asked us to dance, and the two girls before me seemed to be holding back in my opinion, so i thought “I’m going to set myself apart, and just dance my heart out like I do in my room” well I was finishing up my super cool moves, clearly having a blast by myself, when they stopped the music, stared at me blankly, and told me that as a result of my crazy, out-of-nowhere performance, I did half my audition off camera….

Most Embarrassing On The Set Mishap: Well it was my first day of my first job, Mind Over Murder, and we were going through rehearsal before actually shooting the scene, so Andrew and I were running lines and walking through the scene so that we knew what we were doing, and how to do it….when they asked me to do my famous scream from the audition, well I was so overwhelmed with excitement, nerves and of course being very distracted by the good looking boy I had to kiss…when it came time to do my scream, it came out like more of the sound a dog makes when you step on its tail….

How did you handle your Summer, friends and family and Acting on Family Biz: It actually wasn’t as hard as people might think. My friends and family are so supportive of what I do, so it takes a lot of the pressure off knowing that I have so many people who believe in me. If you truly want to do something, then you just have to do it, of course you’re going to miss out on the odd party here and there, but you just have to keep your head up and stay true to yourself.

Favorite Scene: The rock concert (Emo) look for it!

Favorite Actor: Paul Walker and Jason Statham….mmmm

Favorite music, band: Metallica, Our Lady Peace, The Tragically Hip, The Red Hot Chili Peppers

Favorite designers/models: Versace, Valentino, and Dolce and Gabbana are my favourite designers, I like their feminine styles and Marissa Miller (from Victoria’s Secret) is my favourite model.

Favorite foods: Thai food, raspberries, ice cream, and junk food (I know it’s awful)

Hobbies: swimming, dancing, singing, going to the gym, going to concerts

Style after work and at play: sweat pants and a hoodie

Movie you want to see next: Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist

Most Embarrassing song on your iPod: Not going to lie it’s from the South Park movie….

Dreams and Goals: To travel and to live in Australia for at least a year!

About Angie’s - your agency/booker: Angie is definitely one of the people who I have a great admiration for, she is always so positive and I love her outlook on life and how she truly believes that the world is such a wonderful place. She always gives me such motivation to keep going, and keep living my dream. I love her warm energy and how she sees the beauty in every person she meets. I love being a part of her agency, shes given me so much, and she continues to give me more to look forward to.
